Deck deals collected
.jpg) Deck machinery supply contracts for newbuild vessels have been secured by Norway's Aker Solutions worth up to NOK 100 million (US 15.39 m).
Hyundai Heavy Industries has contracted Aker to supply electric and hydraulic deck machinery for container carriers being built for a European ship owner.
Also Dalian has tapped Aker for two contracts involving provision of high pressure Pusnes hydraulic machinery for a Very Large Crude Carrier and a petroleum carrier. All equipment will be supplied by Aker Pusnes.Advertisement

Shell to pay out over Nigeria caseOil giant Royal Dutch Shell PLC is to pay out £9.7m ($15.5m) to settle a lawsuit over its alleged complicity in the 1995 execution of several Nigerian environmental activists, the UK Press Association and British media reported.
